front sprocket

RE: front sprocket
Impact is nice but if you do not have one or want to buy it, try putting a cheater bar on your 1/2' breaker bar. The cheater is a 3-5' pipe that slides onto the breaker bar. Adds a hell of a lot of leverage.

putting a breaker bar on it will end up turning the rear wheel... if this happends its nice to have a friend to step on the rear break to keep it locked then you should be able to break the nut free...

Take it to a shop if all else, it takes about 10 minutes to do the change and might cost ya 30 bucks if you know a reasonable shop...
If you use an impact wrench keep the bike in gear and hit it. It won't tear anything up, despite what you are thinking. I thought it too...
