front sprocket

Default front sprocket

i just bought a new front sprocket and am having a little trouble with the bolt on the stock one.....before i put big muscle in it and screw something up, any tips???

dang, i was ready to try it out, guess i'll have to line one up, cuz i put all the muscle i had into it and it didnt budge

Impact is nice but if you do not have one or want to buy it, try putting a cheater bar on your 1/2' breaker bar. The cheater is a 3-5' pipe that slides onto the breaker bar. Adds a hell of a lot of leverage.

putting a breaker bar on it will end up turning the rear wheel... if this happends its nice to have a friend to step on the rear break to keep it locked then you should be able to break the nut free...

Take it to a shop if all else, it takes about 10 minutes to do the change and might cost ya 30 bucks if you know a reasonable shop...

If you use an impact wrench keep the bike in gear and hit it. It won't tear anything up, despite what you are thinking. I thought it too...

cool, i was thinking it would.... i should pick up my impact wrench within the hour, cant wait to get it on there and try it. what gear do you suggest?

omg.................wow.............it's a new bike. should i get a +2 for the back now, or do you guys think that wouldnt be a good combo???
