ok so I ran out of gas yesterday which sucked... my light was on and FUEL was blinkin yes i understand i needed to fill up but i looked at the speedometer and if u look at it at a angel by the speed there is bars with a gas symbol with a E at the bottom and a F at top.... how do i turn that on?

 

i have been searching for this same answer, what i have found is that the only models with this feature turned on is the Calafornian models.

 

hmm, since the western states get pretty much the same rides, I have not seen one 10r with that available and activated option yet.

However you can see the same thing you mentioned about on the 06 models too. Looks like kawi is planning ahead.

 

Dragone: think I read about this on the other home we have, someone suggested it may be the same gauge cluster as the z1000 and that kawa didnt want to add the extra stuff to make it usable on the 10?

 

But it is there as many believe. and just a matter of time.
How it works, I have not played with it, I did look in the manual again in case I missed it the first time.

 

Yes I looked through that manuel like 20times thinkin i missed it but it just isnt in there. I even asked the people at the dealer and they just told me its probly a function for a different bike not the 10R but I wish I had that function it would be better then FUEL flashin
