I have the Scorpio SR-i500. The Scorpio has a Kawasaki harness so you don't have to hack into the wiring, although I had to splice my ignition wire. I added the perimeter sensor option so thieves can't even get near it without it going off and paging my remote in case I don't hear it. I also added the ignition kill to my order because bikes don't have the benefit of their ignitions being protected behind steel and glass like cars do, so it was a no-brainer for me. I think the i900 comes with all the features. Now it will take more than one guy to steal it and they will need some kind of truck to lift it into. I've read that they use refrigerated trucks because you can't hear the bikes alarm when it's inside I also wen't to Lowes home improvement and bought ten feet of their thickest(3/8") shot-peened(hardened) chain and their beefiest lock. I chain the rear wheel to my awning post, but since I got the alarm I don't do that very much. I lay a terry cloth towel in the wheel so the chain won't mar it. There are also anchors you can buy that install in concrete so you'll have something to chain it to.
You know, youcan getjust comprehensive(covers only theft, vandalism, stuff that happens when it's parked)insurance for very little money. You don't have to get full coverage. I got liability and comprehensive. Insurance isn't even required on bikes in WA state, but Progressive wouldn't let me get just comp.(I hardly ever ride, 1800 miles in two years)

Here's some other stuff I wrote on another forum:
For most alarms all you have to do is connect them to the battery and use their included Velcro to stick them on something under the seat. I know that's how the Gorilla one is, and I have the Scorpio which is similar, but you need to order the Kawi kit with it so you can plug into the licence plate light for power without splicing -and that's it, you're done, and then the turns blink when you arm it -pimp. But the Scorpio has an internal siren, which is pretty loud though even under the seat, just ask BRP lol, but you can add cool features to it like ignition kill/anti-hi-jack, perimeter sensor, and back-up battery. It's remote pages me when one of the sensors is tripped and tells me what time it was set off and even which sensor was tripped; either the shock sensor, the tilt sensor, the perimeter sensor, the low voltage/back-up battery sensor, or the ignition sensor! So being loud isn't really needed when you can be paged. It even has the option to turn the siren off so you will be paged discreetly, thus giving you the opportunity, if you'd like , to catch them red-handed. Plus, the remote has a 1/2 mile range and even indicates whether or not you are actually in range in the upper left corner like a cell phone! And you can choose whether or not to arm the perimeter sensor just by pressing either button #1 or button #3 when you arm it, for those situations where there will be too much foot traffic that keeps setting it off.
So, in my opinion, get the Gorilla if all you want is an easy plug and play set-up, or get the Scorpio Sr-i500 if you want better customization and adjustability for just a little more work to install. I also have comprehensive insurance which covers theft, vandalism, or anything that could happen to it when you are not riding. But still, I paid $6900 for this bike, and would prob. only get $4000 for it if it was stolen, and my rates would go up, therefore I figured; you can't pay enough for a good alarm, and I love the Scorpio. Insurance isn't required for motorcycles in WA state, so I was going to get comp. only, but ended up getting liability as well because the company I have my pizza car insured through wouldn't let me get just comp, and I was too lazy to get it by itself elsewhere.Oh yeah, and another cool thing about the remote for the Scorpio SR-i500 besides the fact that it pages you when your alarm gos off -with a 1/2 mile range- is that it's rechargeable. The lcd screen, which also lights up, has a power bar just like a cell phone that let's you know when it's getting low, then you simply plug in it's charging cable just like a cell phone. Pimp~

Har har har. Have fun out there! ATGATT!(All the gear all the time)
One trick I used when getting used to its torquey throttle response was to keep my throttle wrist flat, like pre-twisting it, thus making it virtually impossible to accidentally goose it and wheelie over backwards...or worse This technique is mentioned in the WA state moto. operators manual that you have to study in order to pass the written test, but I just had to ride it a little before getting my licence, didn't I? Almost bit it big time. I think the fact that I'm left handed didn't help with my throttle control either  Also, another mistake I made was using the front brake pulling into my sisters steep gravel driveway. BAM! Down she went. Slow a lot before you get to gravel, use the rear brake -sparingly,and go over it like it's ice. R&G sliders suddenly became a lot more attractive that day as I examined my mangled faring. I love being able to install my own stuff though! All those years F'n with cars has paid off...

Oh yeah, when posting you gotta click on the image icon and follow the prompts to post an image. It's the icon that looks like a yellow postcard with mountains on it. Like this:

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?

I'm looking for the same bike, but being overseas now, can't price them at dealers. I'll be living in Arizona.
