Have seen several posts on various forums regarding the mirrors for the 09 650r...thought I'd throw in my $0.02. Like a lot of the posts I've seen, I didn't like the mirrors that came on the 09 650r. I talked to a couple of people and was told that after market replacements from Bikemasters for the 08 650r would likely fit. Ordered the 08 replacement from Bikemasters, took the actual mirror stalks off of the mounts that came with the 08 mirrors and put the 08 stalks on the 09 mounts...fit perfectly. The 08 replacement mirrors are more oval and the stalks are a bit shorter than the 09 stock mirrors. Even though they're a little shorter I was able to adjust them to get a pretty good view behind me...think they look a lot better too.

 

Congrats on your viewing/looks department. Better keep them stock oems handy for us other folks. lol
