Ive installed some folding mirrors on my bike and i love them... I can fold them down as I ride and when I hit the trail the are completly out of the way and protected by the cables. Take a look at my pictures and Ive taken a couple of pictures of them. One with them up and the other is with them folded down... not bad for 18bucks a piece.

I am dragging up an old post because I finally got around to buying some of these folding mirrors. It is one of the best mods I have done to the bike. I went riding on tight single track trails on Friday. It was like I was on a different bike. My bike felt like it was 2 feet narrower. It made my bike so much more fun to ride I couldn't believe it. The folding mirrors are a little more blurry than stock but not by much. I can still see everything behind me, it's just moving back and forth a little bit more now. I highly recommend these mirrors. That was weird, I was just looking for some and getting ready to post a question about the folding mirrors myself. Great minds think alike. LOL

I have recently done some mods on the folding mirrors. First I took off the right side since you only need one and I dont really use it.
two- i took my drumell and cut off all the way to where the folding mirrors bend. I can still see what is behind me only difference is that i am looking under my left arm instead of over it. The mirror is alot closer to the handle bar and it folds into the space between the bar and speedo much nicer..
