This all started when I did the pair valve delete. I researched the crap out of removing the smog junk and went with what quite a few people said they did. I removed the pair valve and put a resistor inline which tripped the FI light. Read the code and it said pair valve problem. So I went against my better judgement and did what several others said they did by just putting the two wires together. This ended up throwing a code and causing the problems I have now. So I'll put the pair valve back on with the ports all plugged to elimimate the code with the new ECU. I'll update when I get it installed.

 

I hear ya. You go with the majority thinking that is the way to go. I would have done the same brain theory as well. (I still do the same consensus and that is why the chat is so informational.) You glean information hopeing it is the best for your intentions.
