Got a 650r
i can only speculate - but it looks significantly more narrow (it is after all a inline 2 cyl instead of a I-4)
the stats compare like so:
650R = 178 kg, 71 hp @ 7000 rpm, 65.7 Nm @ 7000 rpm
ZX6R =164 kg, 125 hp @ 14000 rpm, 66 Nm @ 11700 rpm
so slightly heavier, less power, but since it revs lower the engine should last a long time. imagine it probably carves the road about the same.

My son just got one too, also blue. I've ridden it but it is still in the break-in stage. I can tell it's got gobs of torque, especially for a light bike. He traded "up" from his 500 for comfort reasons and I must say the 650R os waaay more comfy for my fat a$$. I can't wait 'til he gets it past the break-in so I can see what it can really do. And, yes, I'm a believer in following the break-in guidlines (pretty close
). That way if something goes wrong I can look the stealer in the eye and say yes, I followed the break-in procedure.
By the way, Kawi GREEN is the fastest color on the planet.
