Ninja 500 problem
when you get the carbs off make sure to remove the pilot jet (next to the main jet) and make sure you can see through it.
make sure your float level is set correctly too.
id also open up the pilot screws. screw them in until they lightly seat then set them to about 2.5 turns out or so... your milage may vary, but 2.5 is a good place to start. you can do it with the bike running. too far screwed in and it will run like ****. too far screwed out and it will run like ****. find a happy medium

Thanks, but i am just going to take it to the shop. because one i dont know really anything about carbs. and 2i would not even know where to begin to disassembly. i am willing to admit that i have no idea what to do. if it were a car issueit would be a totally different story but it is not.

Well just got it back from the shop and they said it was short circuiting. i rode it that day and it was fawless.
