Default newbie reporting....

Hey everyone!!!

I'm new to the board and looking for some tips and info on the Ninja 500.... I'm looking to get one soon, probably withing the next month or so can't wait!!!
I have owned dirt bikes for some time now and have finally decided to get a street bike as well, choosing the 500 for few different reasons (first street bike, insurance costs, easier sitting position, cost...) I'm looking to get a new to 1 or 2 year old 500, any ideas on what I should be looking to pay for it, and are there big differences between the last 3 years on the bike???

Anyone that could offer some input and pros and cons about the bike would be very much appriciated!!!

I will def. post pics once the bike is mine!!!

Thanks!!!

Nothing wrong with a 500. I think you'll be very happy with it!

There have really been no changes in them since 1994. And even then, there weren't very many changes. Mainly your differences are in electronics, brakes, wheel size and fairings and colors.

You will love the 500!

that's right don't fix it, if it ain't broke...murphy's law. now that should tell you something about the non acclaimed ZX5R...they did it right, from the beginning, so not to much changes had to be made. and it's still a very popular bike nowa days. and in the words of me, ride baby, ride....don't just sit back on the side, and watch us go by....
