Other day was travelling down the interstate and the damn thing just shut down. it has gas, battery juice, just doesn't want to start now. She makes a "thunk" noise when I hit the start button. Noise comes from the solenoid area on the right side of the bike. Its a 87 250R. Tried looking around in the forums, but no luck. Theres got to be something. the bike didn't leak anything, or bang/blow up, nothing. So I know shes's still alive, just in a coma.
HELP!

 

It almost sounds like the started solenoid is bad or something.

 

try jumping the stater if it tearns over than back track throught to the stater selonide i know that on the newer bikes there is a feues in line with the seloinide but if you hit the buttin and hear a click than my gustamet is the stater
