Hey all,
I see you guys are very helpful with helpin us noobs with our questions. I am a new rider and just purchased a 97 250r which has a muzzy exhaust and a jet kit. I have the receipt and the exhaust is labeled as a M14020186 and the jet kit is a K&N 81-9153. Other than sounding cooler, what does all this do for me? Thanks for all the advice.

 

welcome to the forum.... post some pics when you have the chance.... well first of all the exhuast will give you a little more HP and a lounder sound...... the jet kit depending on what stage, it will help your low end, mid range, or top end..... if it's stage one "low end" it will excellerate off the line faster and more torque, stage two "mid range" will will help you in the torque section and a little HP..... and stage three "top end" helps you go faster on the higher gears and alittle hp.... i hope this helped.... enjoy your stay..... we all do....

 

Thanks for the help. I am at my parents house now but I am going home later so hopefully I will have some pics up this evening. Is there a way to find out which end my jet kit is?
