not really sure if it will help you out any i only paid like 3400 out the door when i got my 07. and i told the dealer i was new to it and they helped quite a bit, they also gave me a Icon Helmet for 1/2 price. you might be able to actually call kawasaki to ask them about the actual invoice

There is a website somewhere you can go to find the factory invoice, it will cost you I think $10 to find out. But on 250's, I know there isn't much mark-up. (I would guess about $2,600.00)

plan on paying close to $4,000.00 once you buy, register, and insure it. The dealers will also try and hit you with setup fees and shipping fees. You shouldn't pay anymore than $3,400.00-3,700.00 to get it out the door.

(I think I said this somewhere else, too.) If you aren't in a big hurry and you want to buy new, then wait for the Spring Motorcycle Shows... I have seen bike-deals happening where the OUT THE DOOR price is MSRP! The other option is tonegotiate for free stuff that you need, like A HELMET!!! Or you could also try www.beartoothkawasaki.com which is where I went to buy my 2006 Ninja 250. Good folks. Good luck!

^ so true if you don't mind getting your dream ride in a different color ( the one you dreamed about) that would take a few bills to modify in itself.

I think I heard that dealer's profit on these is about $300.00 so the dealers aren't likely to take anything off unless they're "stuck" with one. However, different dealers charge different amounts for the paperwork and you might be able to get something off there. Also, The dealersusually will discount last year's model if they have both in stock. As the only difference is the paint/decal scheme that's a good deal if you don't plan on selling for awhile.
