hi i am new to this forum and i jus picked up a 01 250 and i was wondering what exahust system is the best one for this bike and should i keep it dual or go to single exhaust... ne info is good thanx for ur help

I don't know to much about the 250R but I know Hindle makes a slip-on and D&D makes a full system for the 500R Ninja (can be found on indysuperbikes.com). They may make one for the 250 as well.

Also, try posting your question in the 250Ninja specific section. 'Kawasaki Motorbikes Forum' under sub-forum 'Ninja 250R'. They may be more helpful than me...sorry.

I know you can find complete systems for your bike every so often on eBay and most of them being Muzzy systems.

I looked into it a bit. Kerker makes a complete system for the 250R (can be found on bikebandit.com. Go to Aftermarket Parts). I'm sure, like Remo said, Muzzy would make a system as well. You'd think they would have to with the history they had with team green.

I'd keep it dual. I have a 500 and I love the look of the dual much better than the single. But that's just my opinion! I just have the stock exhaust on mine, no real interest in changing it at the moment.

Twin brothers racing has a good dual exhaust that works very well on the 250R, good noise and performance.
