I was wondering if any of you out there can wheelie there 250. If so how are you doing? Popping the clutch in second or by just hammering down in first? I don't think mine will do that.

 

Clutch it. You can wheelie any bike with a clutch.

 

Yeah,I have to clutch mine to make it wheelie.That is why I usually don't wheelie on it.I don't want to burn the clutch up.[8D]

 

I've seen a lot of vids of people wheeling 250's. You'll never get it to wheelie on it's own power, so you better clutch it. (and save up for a new clutch)

 

Yeah that is what i thought. im not at that level yet, but wanted to find out what you guys are doing. an old roommate of mine had a cbr 600 that was jetted and had a pipe, that thing you had to be careful to keep the front tire down. that is so not the case with my 250.

on a side note:
i'm off to bikeweek in daytona till sunday. leaving the truck here and riding the bike. my cousin and his gang are in from NC and they are on harleys. wish me luck. i'll post some pics when i get back.

 

wish i could goto Bikeweek, now if they put bike week closer to the Daytona 500's Race week i might just take 2 weeks off and go down. LOL

 

heck yeah that lil bike will wheelie...did it myself a number of times. The first was on accident when I was just learning to ride...good times!
