I recently purchased a used 250 (he had it for about 2 months or so and lost his license). Anyway, I just got it out today for the first time (and I mean first time. I've never owned a motorcycle or driven a motorcycle in my life). After doing a few starts and stops trying to get used to the clutch and the controls I went inside for a bit. On my way back out I noticed something hanging under the bike. Its a black tube. *See Pic 1 and 2* When looking under the bike I see another clear tube that just stops *See Pic 3*. I'm not sure what these are for, but I am wondering if they are supposed to go no where or if I need to get it looked at. Can anyone help?

LOL. You're over reacting...

That's a vent tube. I believe either the coolant or battery.(Can't remember right now.) Either way, all 250's have them, so don't worry about it.

 

Glad to hear it. I just didn't want to start learning to ride and have something go wrong.
