I am about the same weight and height as you. My 2008 feels very peppy under my load. Like others have said, you aren't going to feel like you have an 1100cc between your legs but your wallett will feel like it has 1100 in it at the end of the year if you don't buy an 1100... Really the 08 dosen't feel like a tricycle to a 15 year old, it has all the lines of a 600cc without the weight... Very nimble...
