Ok so i have a 2012 ninja 250...i removed my snorkel and shimmed my carb needles with 2 washers..and that seems to be a good combo and it runs good....but i have a k&n air filter coming to me in a couple days....soooo i was wondering if i put the k&n air filter in there and with no snorkel already...will haveing my needles shimmed be enough gas to match it all..i dont wanna shimm my needles any further so if so im just gonna get a jet kit if it comes to that??...which leads me to...will it be ok to have a jet kit k&n air and no snorkel with my stock exhaust?? thank you for any help i may receive

If you are shimming the needles, you must already be familiar with the low speed, mid and wfo results with that shim option. (what thickness?) Which means that you must be familiar with how to test your ride with carbs....
How is the full throttle spectrum right now? Good idle, off idle, mid and wfo throttle response for your weight, gearing and other engine tune? If you add abit of choke, does the off idle response improve or is that even an issue if tried?
