Congrats on the kdx. (My harley is still in the box because it costs too much more than my kawi's to keep running.) The kdx is a good learner ride for sure. I have an 80cc for my youngin in fact. Welcome to KF

thanx guys, so far the rebuild is goin good, when he got it back together the first time it wouldnt start and there was a terrible 'chirp'. turns out it was a bad seal on the lower jug gasket, a little rtv and the chirp is gone. he went riding the next day and broke a throttle cable. but its a runner!!
