power outlet

power outlet
want to add auxillary outlet to my 09 vulcan 900 custom. bought outlet connected to power supply under seat. meter reading is good at 12.69 and 14.4 running but, i cant seem to get any device to work. any clues?

Be more specific; what kind of outlet, what kind of "power supply?" Do you mean you wired in a spare line from the battery and used a cigarette lighter female socket, or what?
What kind of device(s) are you wanting to use? I intentionally stay away from audio, bluetooth, and "clamp on," "stick on" stuff that takes attention off the road. Take the mobile home if you need a camp fridge.
