newbie with suspension question
I just got my bike its an 04 ninja 636. The suspension is set to the prev owner who was a light guy. around 150ish. With me being a biger guy 270 i need to stiffen it up but i have never done suspension adjustments on a bike before. Could any one give me a general idea on what to set it at?

After you find that out look in the Tech section for more info.

RE: newbie with suspension question
how would i measure static sag? from what i have read it should be set at 30mm to 25mm? i adjusted the front rebound on the top of the forks and the adjuster on next to the front caliper to 8 clicks each prev owner had them at 2 clicks each Is there a general rule of thumb on how much front preload i shoud have and do you measure it by the number of visable lines? Im 270 lbs any help would be great.

At 200 my preload is all the way out and I am still missing the mark. [&o]
