Default Gun sling/Suspension question

1st has anyone seen a good leather rifle/shotgun sling to mount on our bikes? I have been looking for a while and have not found anything that will work.

2nd I have been trying to find a previous thread on tightening my suspension, but I cant figure out how to do it. I weigh 200 andif anyone can explain it to me.

Um I'm not sure, I would guess you should go to a sportsman's warehouse or some other hunting store, so you can try on what you are looking for. Maybe something like this. However I just walked out to the garage, and realized that you can't install one on the forks, because of the fork protectors and the tank shrouds. I really think the only thing that will work for you would be a shoulder holster.

Here is an example of the shoulder holster I was referring to.

I have been to all the big stores in my area. I still have not found anything yet. Even when I used to sell guns I could not find any good holsters. I currently usea slingsimilar to the one you suggested. It still is not quick enough to draw your wepon as you drop your bike and chase after a bear.I wonder where Arnold got his in Terminator. Have you ever adjusted your suspension? or should I just buy the service manual for this and other stupid questions

You know about the suspension I am still not sure I adjusted mine right in the begining. But I'm not jumping the bike either. I wish someone would just tell me how to max out all of the settings for my larger than life weight. A friend of mine who has kids that race, said that for my weight I need to re-spring the front end.

Find an article on adjusting the 'sag'. I believe there is a good write-up on that in the technical sectionof thumpertalk.com That is the most important adjustment and should be done first because it dials the suspension in according to your weight. The bike should only compress 1/3 of total suspension travel with your sitting forward on the seat with both feetlightly on the ground (just enought to keep the bike upright.)

Good luck.

Someone posted a spot last week about klx power mods. This was also on the list and has to do with sag set up.
