Greetings all! I am Lewis and I am a relatively new rider, I just have an extremely old bike...1995 Kawasaki ZX-7! Whenever it starts, it does the job. I am in the Air Force, and I am currently doing a special duty as a MTI aka drill sergeant. I have a ton of questions, if they are too stupid...just ignore me! Thanks!

new rider, new to the forum, and just picked up a '99 ZX7.

 

Welcome to the forums Lewis. Watch out for those Crazy S.A. Drivers. I spent 5 out of the 7 Years in the AF there in San Antonio with 37th comm.

 

Likewise, I'm a new rider w/ an old bike--a 1991 EX500. I liked the EX when it first came out back when I was in high school and vowed some day to get one for myself. Well, I finally did this year. It's needed work, but I've had it out on the road a bit. So far the longest trip has been to NYC and back in a day. The carbs weren't adjusted exactly right but I was still pleased with its performance. I'm planning a trip to NC for Thanksgiving. From what I've read from other members, I shouldn't have any problems with this bike on the long trip. Good luck w/yours.

A '95 as is extremely old is nonsense. I proudly own a '90 zx7
