New Member saying Hi!
New member from west Ga. Riding a 96 vulcan 800, 89 Goldwing gl1500 and just recently bought a 97 vulcan 1500 88. The wing is a great ride,for the long haul, but do enjoy the vulcan for around town. Could use some help with diagnostics for the 97 1500 88. Has not been run for some time, had to put carbs back on it, got it to run, but it will not go forward. Goes into 1st. gear, but seems like the brake is on, it will kill it if the clutch is not disengaged. it rolls in neutral, will go in 1st, can not get to go into any other gear. Previous owner said it ran fine last time he rode it, let sit for long period,started it carbs flooded so he took them off. and thats where i bought it. Help! Thanks in advance, Buck
