New Kawasaki owner and new rider too!
Good Morning Everyone!
I just wanted to thank everyone for the great posts and tips and for letting me be a part of this great sport!
Last week I purchased a brand new '07 KLX250S and absolutely love it. I'm new on the street, but I have taken the Florida motorcycle course at Orlando Harley Davidson about five years ago. I have about 130 miles so far on the bike and have gottenpretty comfortable with the street. It is my daily commuter to work (other than my Toyota FJ Cruiser when it'spouring here in lovely Orlando, Florida!)
This weekend will be my first time in the dirt with the KLX and I can't wait! My roommate has let me use his Honda CRF230 for about eight hours in the dirt so I'm anxious to see the differences between the two.
At 600 miles when I'm having service done on the bike I'm going to have the carb re-jetted and a full Muzzy exhaust put on. I'm anxious to see the difference in power when that time comes.
I have a question if anyone cares to answer. I'm looking at the Dynojet carb kit for the KLX, but they only have one for the KLX300, I heard that it will fit the 250, is that true? Or what kit should I purchase?
Thanks again everyone!
Mike

Yeah I know it's weird. The dealer had ordered too many of the 07's a few years ago. They stuck the last one in their warehouse probably at theend of 07and forgot about it. Then one of the salesmen was back there and found it and put it up on Cycletrader.com. I found it and bought it for one heck of a price - $4,282 out the door.
