I am new to the kawasaki world but always loved the bikes, I recently purchased a 1997 1500 vulcan classic, I was not crazy about how it looked in it current condition, so at the first of the year I decided to try and clean it up a bit. I dabble in paint work on the side so I commenced to taking it apart and the video tells the story please enjoy and give me your feed back. Thanks

 

First of all welcome to the forums. Second you couldn't have picked a better song! I was 15 or 16 when I wore out that cassette from BTO, in fact I think I had to replace it twice, that and Pink Floyd's The Wall album... every time I hear that song it takes right back there.

I love the colors that you used. I hardly ever watch videos on line that are more than 2 minutes long, but I was mesmerized by the whole process, and when the clear coat was added, OMG! It just popped!!! Very nicely done there!

 

A great job on the paint. That scheme reminds me of this paint art.
