Thank you everyone. I hope to have her up and ready for inspection soon. I just need to locate some pegs and I'm good to go!

 

Hey guys, as you know, I needed the left and right front pegs (non-passenger) for my 02 ninja 250. I did a search on ebay but the left and the right peg look awfully different. One is even rubber coated while the other is bare metal. Is it normal to have one peg covered and one bare metal? Is that how they come stock? Or am I looking at parts for a different year that wont fit?

The pegs should look the same ie coated generally.

 

Are the stock pegs coated? The dealer wants $30 each peg but I'm having trouble finding ones on ebay. The dealer says I need these springs too which aren't included. Way more confussing than I thougth. [&:]

 

try bikebandit.com theyre my favorite site for bike stuff... oem is a lil on the pricey side but i bet you could find some shiny yellow ones real cheap.
