Just Picked Her Up Today
Hey guys, I found this site doinga little web search and thought it would be very helpful to talk to more experienced riders about their bikes as I could really use the help. I just purchased my first bike, a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250 with about 8000 miles on it, and I love it! Somewhat slow compared to my friends' bikes but a great starter bike. It runs great. However, it was dropped by the previous owner so I am looking for a few parts. The front (non-passenger) pegs (both left and right) are missing from the bike. I checked on ebay and it looks like they are selling generic "Kawasaki Ninja 250 pegs" which may do the job but not sure. Has anyone had luck withthese? On the other hand, the actual right bracket iscracked and missingthe piece to connect the peg so thatlooks a little more challenging. I need the whole "footpeg bracket" I believe it's called. I know the bike design stayed the same for a few years so I may be able to buy parts off someone with another year or if anyone knows a cheap parts place.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

RE: Just Picked Her Up Today
Deej, I must agree, the pipe is amazing! I had no idea about Muzzy until I picked up this bike. I am assuming it is aftermarket but a great add on. In the picture it was dissconnected but it was reassembled when I picked her up. It was tightened on and not welded so I guess it was loose for the picture. Sounds great now.
Thank you so much Kohburn. I placed my bid and am one step closer to riding.
And hello and thank you to Too~SweeeT and hoedogg. This site seems like a very friendly place for Kawasaki Ninja fans.
