just joined with pic kx500....
Looks pretty clean. The hard part is getting it started without the kick starter, unless you have a rich girlfriends dad with a big steep paved driveway. Look on craigslist. you will find it. If you have about 300 bucks just buy a junker if it's close enough and you'll make bank by selling off all the other parts. I have a 97 and just saw someonepart out a 93 and made well over 3000 (motor over a grand, but all the little stuff added up). The 80's one are bit not as common but do get some attention too. Good luck, nice find. Joe.
LOL after getting back from this weekend, I just realized that you probably meant starter not stator. Now that's funny right there. I think
Chock full of whooo-hooo huh? Got my '87 two years ago for $800. Engine oil seal kit on ebay=$13, New clutch cable on ebay=$18, Wheelies in any gear=Priceless! The are I have to ride in is relatively small, so I advertised a straight trade for a 250. No one would touch it! I couldnt believe how many responses I got saying it was too much bike. Well, congrats Anthony, and enjoy that big bitch!
