I just wanted to post and say hey! and i'm new to the bike scene, i know nothing of bikes... and i wanted to know if there as a site where i could learn about them.. I am going to buy a bike by the end of the year, and i wanted to learn about them int he mean time... I work on my car all the time right now and from what i hear, bikes are harder to learn, but if oy uknow of a site that i can learn from please post it. I am wanting to know what the best bikes, in your opinion... and which brand is better what the pros and cons, so hit me up if you can THX!

 

Welcome to the forums!! One of the best ways I learned about bikes was to ask friends who ride if they have magazines lying around. If not then you need to get some and read front to back! Tons of information to be had with honest reviews (well most of the time). As far as the "best bikes" what are your intentions for this bike....cruise, race, stunt, show....its all up to you on what bike you think is the best to suite your needs.

welcome to the forum. best way to learn about bikes is the mag and asking friends. but make sure you take the safety course too. thats very important. gear up and ride safe

 

Hey! Welcome to the forums! I'm new to bikes myself - I bought mine last December and got my license this past May. I started reading magazines and talking to other people that own bikes. Also started checking out bike sites on the net. I'd say you are on the right track. Good luck in your learning and remember - buy what you feel comfortable on!
