I bought a 2009 KLX 250S last summer. It had only 1060 miles on it. I've put about 1200 on it since. I've not ridden since I had a Honda Elsinore 125 just out of high school. I'm hooked! Haven't had it off road yet but I have a friend who knows of some legal trails he will introduce me to in the spring.
I just found this forum. I hope to take away a lot of good info. I'll be looking for upgrades and accessories for my bike. A more comfortable seat for starters.

Take your time getting your chops back; your brain may remember those skill "circuits," but muscle "memory" doesn't return as quickly.

I thought I was bad waiting 16 years to hop back on. I got my 2009 KLX250S a little over a year ago and still loving it. It's a great all around kind of bike... until you hit 75mph which always leaves you wanting more. All that goes away as soon as you hit the trails. Welcome to the forum.
