Hello all I’m new here. In October I traded my 95 Honda magna 750 for a 97 zx6e. I absolutely love her. When I got her I didn’t know it wasn’t a r but I joined the zx6r forum and started asking questions and a gentleman there pointed out I have the e. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I do love how comfy it is but I’m the type who’s never happy with stock so that got me wondering what are the differences between the e and the r and would I b able to maybe take some things from a r to sort of make her a little more what I want. I came across this forum searching for those answers and it took me to a thread where a guy was asking about the differences and was told the e is a tuned down r with different body work. Does anyone know how it was tuned down? Was it smaller cams, carbs, different timing? Would any of those things swap onto my bike? Not looking to make a unreliable track monster just kinda give her some bigger ***** n make her mine. Lol. Any info about other bikes that I can use parts from would also b helpful.
