I'm trying to convert my turn signals into both parking lights and turn signals. I spliced the TS harness into the PL harness, the turn signal stays lit like parking lights but it does not blink when I activate the turn signal. Do I need relays? Please help what am I doing wrong. I have a 2007 kawasaki Ninja 650R.

 

You need Dual Filiment bulbs

 

A dual filament bulb has two connections at the base of the bulb, my stock bulb only has one connection and turn signal assembly only has one connection for that bulb. Will a dual filament bulb still work?

 

x2. All jap bikes (that I know of) have single filament bulbs. I know you can buy some aftermarket turn signals like flush mounts that are dual filament. I dont know if the LED aftermarket turn signals for klx250's are "dual" lighted.

 

On my wife's 2006 Yamaha XT 225 the front turn signals are turns and running lights.
