I’ll give as much info as I can. About a year ago I bought a 300cc engine from a totaled ninja. It had sat for a while before I got it. It came with what I was told was everything I’d need to get it running. So here a year later and I’ve got it mounted and wired up in a 86 Honda fat cat frame. I’ve got it to run once for about 30-45 seconds. I’m missing vehicle down sensor, ignition and key. The guy sold the gas tank,fuel pump, ignition, tank lid, and keys before I got there. I’ve been riding from the age of 5. This one has me stumped. I had a TL1000r that I lost keys to so I know all about having to have resistance on the wire. I have 100ohm on the gray wire. I’ve bypassed the VDS with a Rio stat. I’ve got continuous spark when starting. I can’t get more then a backfire every now and then. I’ve got it in N, kick stand up clutch pulled in. Long story short I’ve got air, good compression, fuel, and what seems to be good spark. I’ve got a brand new battery and fuel pump. Will start all day but it will not run. Is there something with the timing? I’m not one to give up but really considering it. It is putting out 63 & 64 on dash and I don’t really know much about fuel injection other then I verified the injectors are working while starting. Like I said it seems to me the timing is off or it is just not sparking at the right time? This is all I can think of at the minute but anyone has any ideas or needs more info, I’ll be glad to give any that is ask for, please help. I have the full manual and have gone over this thing three times to try and find what I’m missing. Also, I was told to run all grounds to battery not frame? Didn’t sound right to me but I’m going to try it. So the main -
