2011 prairie 360 4x4 2WD dospes not engage
Howdy all, not dospes, does not
I traded a Bear tracker for the KVF360 knowing it was in a state of neglect. What an understatement!! The issue I am having is when its in 2WD it does not move, no rear wheel ection at all, but when I engage 4WD using the lever on the handlebar (I deleted all actuators and belt switch) it moves, but not rear wheels, only the front diff. Selecting H,L,R,N feels liuke its not in prroper alignment, Clicks, grinding can be heard when going from one selection to another.. When it is iun R I feel both the front and back engage, I know what it feels like so I am confident that I'm correct. This happened last night while on a test run checking on the repairs I had just completed, Piston head and rings, topend rebuild, and cylinder refresh. I verified the lack of rear wheel action while going up a muddy incline, front was fully ingaged but nada from the rear. When I started this project I found the rear final drive had been entirely DEEEstroyed. The pinion was smooth Like a pear and the ring gear was chipped, and had basically shattered, the wet brakes were not in the proper order. It was done by the previous owner who did not have a clue. OK, the engine is good , smooth running without backfires or hesitation .It shifts smooth, I'm getting mixed signals and its causing confusion. I am thinking that when the rear final drive was destroyed some of the energy made ir=ts way into the transmission and damaged it. I think it might be the output shaft. Yeah,I'm confused. Any and all comments would be appreciated. I need an idea of what I should be looking for . Thanks
