Default 2007 ZX6r only running on 2 cylinders

Hi All,

About 2 weeks ago I took my bike out for a ride and after about 5 minutes it started bogging to the point where I had to keep the revs high at junctions otherwise it would just stall.

I thought it might be water in the tank as I had washed it the day before, but I hadn't used it for about 3 months before hand. I took the tank off and completely drained it and put fresh fuel in it but still does the same and pretty much impossible to ride now.

I ran the engine up for 10 seconds and switched it off, I could feel on the exhaust manifolds that cylinders 1 and 4 were hot but cylinders 2 and 3 were stone cold, so it seems like the bike is bogging as it's only running on 2 cylinders.

I've checked the injectors with a multimeter and they all read 11ohms. I've also put the multimeter on the ground of the battery and positive connector of the injector harness and when the ignition is switched on it reads 2.7v dc. Not sure if that's right but all 4 of them read the same and as I say, cylinders 1 and 4 get hot and seem to be taking the load.

Maybe there's something that's common to cylinders 2 and 3? I did read about coils but a 2007 ZX6r has individual coils per spark plug.

Would appreciate your help everyone.

Cheers.
