Default Oil Drain Plug won't unscrew!

Having problems unscrewing oil drain plug KXF250, appears stripped. Can a Helicoil replace the stipped threads? What other suggestions can you give? [One thought that crossed my mind was to leave well enough alone and puchase the device that sucks the oil out, rather than rely in the drain.]

Have you tried using a heat gun to expand the area? What makes you think it's stripped if you can't get it unscrewed? Usually, the "sides" of the bolt head will begin to dog-ear before you start stripping threads, unless they were stripped when you replaced the bolt after your last oil change.
You can also tap (gently to moderately) on the bolt head as you're trying to turn it; kind of a pseudo"impact wrench" trick.
Try these suggestions. If they don't work,I can offer more extreme measures..
