Oil drain plug.
Does anyone know where to get this type of plug for a 95 zx7. I see them for 96 and up but not 95.

Yup, sure enough. Went to bikebandit.com and checked out the oil drain plug for 95 and 96, and they are both the same part #. It is a 12x1.50mm plug. The 96 should work with no problem...
It was from an ebay actuion that has ended and the seller doesn't seem to sell them anymore.
Thanks bigrig for the info bro.
I really want to find one of these in aluminum, I f*cked mine up by over tightening with a cresent wrench [:@]

No problem at all. Here is a link to some safety wire drain plugs. Not sure if they have the magnet tho' ....

I have not recorded any oil pan oil temps, but at the moment do not like the idea of al with a press fitted magnet at the moment. Al expands pretty good depending on the hardness and thermal caps. I would think a steel plug with a magnet would be more durable in the long run. But, I will have to make an Al plug with a pressed in magnet to try it out. You are getting my brain to working again Notstock. I will use my 7 and 10 as the guinee pigs! lol Oh, no cresent wrenches!
You can always buy a magnetic plug and drill so you can safety wire it yourself.
