What were you looking for that you couldn't find? Just today I tried to order an EJK fuel controller from the manufacturer. They don't have any and don't know when they will be available. I've done almost all of the major mods I wanted to do and am totally pleased with the bike.

Today was. Learning day. I cut off the tip over sensor bracket and relocated the sensor. Big mistake…. Log story short, thx to a YouTube video, I bypassed. My bike would start. But wouldn’t stay running. I also installed a Tusk rear fender LED tail light/brake light. FYI, I cut off 5” measured from the square end.

The Tusk looks great. They make good stuff.
Just curious about any model differences... where is your radiator overflow reservoir located?

If you have one it would be inside the left side plastic.

The parts diagram doesn't show it for the R model, but I don't trust those as they are missing LOTS of parts like the fuel injector and throttle body.

It is essentially the same as the 09 and up SF version except for the EFI and the larger bore. Anything that involves the chassis or body that fits a 2009 and up KLX250 will work on the 300. The bash plate from any year KLX250/300 should fit as well, the general frames are the same.

Hope that helps a bit.

The parts diagram shows the reseviour where you mentioned.

Also, just ordered a EJK tuner. Spoke to the owner... they have 40 units going out, more to come in the next 1-2 weeks. (maybe a sales pitch??)

They originally invoiced me $250, but immediately corrected it to $225 when I let them know. This is likely a China supply issue so it'll take time. I'm just happy to get one. I'm also shopping for an A/F gauge so I can do my own tuning.
