Default 2021 KLX300R future mods

So, I'm going to post things that I want/will do to my KLX300R that manufacturer's don't have available.
It's not like I'm creating things that are new, but making things fit.
also, I will post things that I have found that could help other poeple.
1. Acerbis Disc guard. I have milled the fork side of a mounting bracket .100" down to accommodate the .555" factory spacer to the front alxe/wheel bearing, and making a new spacer.

2. I talked to Trail Tech and the Endurance 2 computer fits, the just haven't updated their website yet. #202-119
Amazon Amazon

I will be installing a Tusk rear fender/brakelight, Polisport Headlight with LED bulb, stay tuned!!!

The machine shop just made my spacer... in 4 minutes!!!! The Acerbis mount is for a 2005 KX250.
Ready to mount my Acerbis disc guard!!! Just a reminder... I took off .100" off the fork side of the Acerbis mount, then used the spacer.

Default Polisport headlight

I didn’t want to use the rubber straps supplied with the headlight, so I bought a 36” x 1” aluminum strip and some 5/16” grommets to make a bracket. I also bought 2, 90 degree brackets to mount the top of the bracket and will utilize the 2 post on the triple clamp for the bottom.

That's really nice work, especially the disk guard.
Are you going to make it street legal?

Yes. In NH, directionals are not required. Thx for the complement!! Just trying to share info that I'm finding.

I do the same with new ideas I come up with, so I like to see what other riders do to personalize their bikes.

There is almost NO information on my SM because it's a new model. No factory shop manual. Not even an owner's manual. I'm only the 3rd one to dyno test it.

The aftermarket world is killing me with this bike. Nothing available.
