Rear left indicator blowing (LED)

Rear left indicator blowing (LED)
Hi everyone, first post here...
I am currently travelling around SE Asis a bit and got my hands a on a KLX 150 (or so it says on the fairing).
When I bought it the rear left indicator wasn't working. No biggie, I'll just replace them. They are LED lights/bulbs.
However when I went to replace it and fit a whole new set of indicators. The bulb just blew straight away (it flashed once). It's the actual LED that is blowing - not a fuse (I think). When I hooked the one I just tried up to the right-hand indicator it doesn't work. So that confirms the it is the bulb blowing. I tried the other indicator I bought on the right-hand side and it works fine...
So what is actually going on here? Overvoltage? Bad wiring? I'm really not sure and I can't find a free manual for this specific bike. All other lights, horns and starters work just fine.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Cheers guys!
