I think I am going to go a different route with the foot peg problem and the muzzy pipe. I am good friends with the muffler shop owner here and I'm gonna see if he can tweak the pipe over a little. I'm an Electrician, but I don't have a bender that big, otherwise I could put a 1/4 inch off set in that sucker. We'll see. Maybe I'll put on my knee guards first.

I just ordered a Muzzy from starcycle and they claim delivery next week. I guess we'll see. I wonder if they forgot about you konica? When I called they said they were no longer back ordered...

EDIT: They also said that this pipe is the most popular in the states for this bike.

With it being so popular, perhaps Muzzy will justify tweaking the bend of the mid-pipe just a tad to accommodate the KLX250S. With their spike is demand, its obvious people are putting it on the new KLX250S and not the much older and established KLX300.

You beat me to it VFR, I went in the garage to grab the snorkles.

Deej, I think whichever exhuast you get you'll be happy with the increase in ZOOM. When I put the muzzy on and road down the street it didn't seem much different except the loudness, but once I got to the dirt it was a very noticeable difference. BTW, I did my mods in stages, I had already re-jetted and drilled out the slider about a month before the Muzzy. So, if you're doing it all at once you'll probably see a major difference.

That's been my experience too, sullydirt.

Just FYI, I have a K&N high flow filter coming soon and I'll report on how much that helps, if any. My feeling is that the air flow is being somewhat restricted by the foam filter. I did recently clean and oil my filter - it's possible I didn't get enough oil out and that's the reason. It just seems a little stuffy on the intake side of things like it's being held back. I'll report more when I have more information.

Hey Brian/nobrakes,
Can you post the part # for the K & N filter?

Thanks
