Default Woo, this 351 kit is the bomb.

I got through the 50 miles of break-in today and got to open it up a few times, and wow, what a difference. I also added an FMF power bomb header (with stock exhaust, I don't want to be too loud) and a 3D printed airbox cover. After trying a few things we ended up with a 1.52 jet, and I'm very happy with it.

There's more power seemingly everywhere, but my favorite part is how usable 6th gear is now.

I already loved this bike because of the low weight and the weight distribution, but with the extra power it's just over the top fun in the woods, with great service intervals and reliability. It also comfortably chooches along at 65 with zero drama, and is now kind of ideal all around for me.

The only rough patch was when I was doing some medium enduro on a slight up slope and my phone launched off the bars, so I stopped to go back for it and the electric start wouldn't fire for some reason. Ever tried to pop start a bike on a pretty flat stretch of softball-sized rocks? Not fun...

I do love the 351. I’ve had it about two yrs now. I hope I’ll have time Saturday to install the pumper carb.

So far it’s great! It’s way more responsive. My son has a 250 and we swapped bikes Friday. He couldn’t believe how much of a difference the 351 made in 6th gear.

Put a couple of hours on it today, from pavement to some enduro/large baby heads. Loved every second of it.

It still amazes me when I'm on one of the long, steep uphill climbs that're everywhere around here and it accelerates strongly in 6th.

It's like a whole different bike.

It really is. I’m fine tuning my jetting now on the 36 carburetor. 6th gear is Awesome on the 351. I’m running without the snorkel. Lid off was just too loud for my taste🤪

The 3d printed lid I linked above is a little louder, but nothing crazy like a slip-on. It’s a nice, deep, throaty sound. I really like it.
