Wolfman Pics.
Glad you liked it! Pretty fun. No GS yet.....but there is still snow on the ground so its easier to be patient. Just ordered the wolfman tank bag today (the little one for the KLX and a bigger one for the GS). Have ADV sticker. Have boots and goggles now. Need practice. Lots of practice. Need to hone my "wirmitude"....(is that what we are now....????)
Yup, I think we are WIRMS, lol. Get rid of some of this snow and we can go practice falling off in the ORV. Falling in frozen sand sucks. I need to practice hill climbs and slow tight turns. I will let you ride our baby KLX it is too much fun.
Looks like you could back up for weeks with those bags!Way to hang in there testing in the snow glad to know my GPS won't fall off when you fall. well, ok I have tested it many times also. I have the same heater

Here's some bags fer ya! Used'em on my lastsummer trip. They worked great.

It's always nice to have a seat/tail bag if you're traveling for any length of time though. This one is really handy. It explands out to a decent size and has lots of handy pockets.

Tremor, that looks realy nice. Did they get in your way at all? Did you go off road?I have not had a chance to ride very far with mine on. That is the same setup I'm going for but with the tank bag for camera, gun, snacks, wallet, and other things I need to get to quick.
Didn't get in my way at all. They only thing that was different was getting on and off the bike; I mostly did that with kick stand down. The tail bag is MotoFizz brand which is sold all over in Japan but is also available on BMW/Aerostitch websites. It's a one-of-a-kind as far as I know. I love the expando zippers on each end. Its available in medium and large. Medium is about rightfor the KLX and you can expand and pack it full without problems.
Having the saddle bags underneath added to the stability, but they weren't absolutely necessary.
I did very little off road with them and probably wouldn't push it with that setup...especially with the bag in expanded state.

Got a chance to ride with the bags on. I like them alot. They dont get in my way at all. Like Tremor said you have to get on a little more carefully. If you dont watch where you put your foot you will step right into the bag (hope that makes sense). It's 57 degrees here today, Ya hoo!!
