Default Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag question

does it get in the way riding? i just did a longer off road ride and having 2 tubes, camel back, tools and personals in a back pack is killing my shoulders. i dont like the side bags for off roading cus i tent to drop it a lot. though on the subject of side bags, does the dirt bags frame for the 06/07 fit the 09?

No, it doesn't get in the way at all. I've had mine for a couple of years now and can attest to the superior quality of all the Wolfman products. I've got them on a couple of my bikes.

Hello .. . . .. .my name is vfr ....... and I'm a Wolfman junkie.

i have an icon bag which is a bit bigger than Brian's wolfman bag. i actually sold my clarke tank because i couldn't get the bag to secure to it(to my liking). i won't ride without a tankbag. Brian correct me if i'm wrong here but i don't think you can get all that stuff in that bag.

have you looked into the front fender bags for your tubes? if you had a tankbag a fenderbag and a decent toolbag on the back i think you'd be all set. with those 3 carrying the heavier items your backpack would be considerably lighter.

Yeah it would be a tight fit for all that. Normally I would put tools in a tail mounted tool kit and cinch it down with compression straps to keep stuff from rattling around. In the tank bag I would carry stuff I needed more frequently like camera and stuff like that. The Wolfman tank bag can hold a good bit though. I've carried a liter of water, camera, binoculars, maps, etc, all in it at once. But adding tools and tubes would probably be too much in addition.

Here's a better picture on my KTM:

It only gets in the way if you are way up on the tank while cornering. For casual riding, it is not in the way at all.

Wolfman tail mounted toolkit:

Generally these days, though, I find myself preferring to toss the tools into my back pack along with my camel back, and put my camera in the thigh pocket of my riding pants. From our Uwharrie ride:

Yeah, I don't ride it. It's just a garage queen. You can tell by its pristine cosmetic condition, fancy unblemished aftermarket graphics, and the obvious polish and detailing worthy only of such a status symbol.
