I tried a CNG conversion for a bit, then got cited by the police for the 5 pound propane tank on the back.

I might try a diesel conversion next- It's really easy to siphon 2 gallons of used french fry oil from behind the local McDonalds.

Thats funny.

Hey man, if you use the fry oils, you'll just make other people hungry for fries. Something about burning waste vegetable oils will create a smell of what was cooked last in it.

I wouldn't bother with any different fuel. I always run the Premium 91 Octane, no problems ever with it. And it only cost me $5-6 dollars to fill the 1.5gallons.

I ran it on just the 10% blend of ethanol and I didn't care for it. Didn't run as good. I just run Supreme (93 octane) all the time. Even at ~ $4 a gallon, it don't take much green to fill it up.

Also with running E85, don't you have to use a different style fuel hose? Doesn't E85 eat through rubber?
