Kawasaki KLX 250 300R 650 Foot Pegs

Just for what it is worth. I have an extra set of these foot pegs that will fit a 2007 250S and maybe others. Got them from a friend that went back to stock pegs, (little feet) after about 200 miles. We/I can let them go cheap, maybe shipping plus 5 or 10 bucks....let me know if anyone is interested.

They 'fit late model KLX250S and SM as well as 300R and early KLX250R. Pretty much about every KLX model made.

Why get the KDX250 ones (part no. D48-02-526) when there is a selection for the KLX250 (part no. D48-02-522a)? Please share info you obtained from vendor if possible. Anyone else get these...which ones...thoughts?

Thanks,

Just want to doublecheck.....On the IMS site, the Super stock pegs for the KLX300 are the ones to order for the KLX250?

Also anyone have any pros and cons about the Pivot Pegs? They look like a great idea.

Amazing I tried for 4 years to get Pivot Pegz to make them for the KLX250 and failed, now they finally are doing them.

These look interesting. How does this effect braking and shifting. Is it intuitive with your foot mobile like this?

That is EXACTLY what's going on!!! When I worked at Xerox; the design engineers used to send parts back to China three and four times to have them re-tooled. The Chinese don't have a clue what the difference is between a .001 and a .01 tolerance, and they simply don't care. They'd rather do it over than do it right the first time.

I avoid buying anything from China as much as I can. I don't like the thought of how much that country is prospering by selling crap to "stupid Americans". Sorry to say - but that's exactly what they think of us. My wife had to deal with a bunch of Chinese foreign exchange students at a private school she was teaching at. Those kids had a real BAD attitude towards America, and Americans… thought they were WAY superior!

We, as a country, need to get back to supporting our own... even if it initially costs us more.

I've never tried the Pivot Pegs, but have talked with several KLR650 riders who love them. Pros: easier shifting and standing on inclines. Cons: cost.

I ordered a set of IMS super stock from a fleabay vendor and received the pro-series instead. Them are some sharp leg shredding cleats, but they sure hold the boot to the peg like glue. I don't think my foot has ever slipped off.
