What's your gearing combination and chain length?
Zeno
I have got to try that set up. would love to be able to crawl and use 3rd gear once in a while.
Do you have any chain guard, chain guide problems?
I may have to spend some money this weekend and get some new stuff!
I am 13 and stock in back, its just toooo high of gearing.

To answer your other question, I went with steel rear sprocket based on reviews I was reading on rockymountainatvmc.com. The steel ones may weigh more but apparently last longer.
Looks like this thread died out, so let's bring it back! I just did 13/45 with 108 link chain. I am running into the problem with the snail adjuster being in 7 for this setup and the piece on the adjuster that hangs off hitting the chain guard bolt, so I have to flip the adjuster over and it now points down (a little worried about it catching).
Anyone else ran into this problem?

To the original post I would like to add that 15x39 works with 104 links max. I had 106 cut down from 108 to fit 15x43 on my SF but that was too long for 15x39 which I want for interstate commuting. Have seen 95mph with that.
Edit: Just to add, I rode the Bald Mt Jeep Trail in VA last weekend on 13x43 on stock SF tires (130/70-17 rear) Dry and rocky mostly. Had plenty of traction at 20 psi. Gearing Commander shows that gearing is close to 13x48 on the S 18" wheel/tire.
