Yes it should be a really good trip. If you get a chance on the way to Renfrew you should have a look at Botanical Beach it is really cool. There are some good campsites on the way. Do you have the Vancouver Island Backroads Map Book? If not, you can pick it up at just about any large gas station/food store. IT is the bible for logging roads and drivable trails on the island.
