Default What jet numbers do I need for 351?

I know after talking with Bill that I go up 1 on the pilot and up 2 for the main jet. The jet's I took out are a 35 for pilot and 118 for main. I'm going with kawasaki jet's, and just want to know what numbers I should be expecting when I ask for my new one's.

You'll need a 38 pilot.

I'm not sure what the Keihin jet sizes are on the mains though.. i'm using DJ.

As far as jetting, you may be able to stay with the stock Pilot, and the main may be as low as 124, or higher, depending upon your altitude and the slight differences of your bike. I have a 40 Pilot and a 132 main in my 331....I MAY be a tad bit rich, but, I have minimal **** on the exhaust outlet, and it runs great, so, I'm leaving it that way for now. I ride from below sea level (Death Valley) to around 6000 feet.

Oh, I have DynoJet jets in mine.

My 331 is pretty lean on the stock 35 pilot, i got a 38 to replace it and hopefully that will be enough. I'm already on the 128 DJ on the main and she won't pull a redline in any gear but first so hopefully the 132 DJ will be enough for that as well. I'm at 1200 ft FWIW.

OP heres a rough cross reference between Keihin (stock) DJ and Mikuni jets.
Keep in mind that this is only a size comparison of the jets as Keihin uses a rating of CC's of flow through the jet orfice, Dynojet uses just the orfice diameter and Mikuni does whatever the hell they do to size thier jets.

Most people are running 128-132 DJ jets on big bore KLX's from what i've seen so that would roughly translate into a 137-142ish Keihin jet.

Well, I was very surprised at how cheap the jet's are from the dealer. They didn't have any in stock so I have them on order. A #38 pilot was $3.95 and the main jet's were only $2.75. For such a low cost, I had them get me a 122.5, 125, and a 127.5. Based on what bill told me, the 122.5 would be 2 up from the stock 118. So, does everyone think the 122.5 is going to do it. Everything else is going to be stock on the bike. Only mod is 351 kit, and air block of plate.(is this what it's called)

Also, Bill told me to go 1 1/2 turns out on the fuel screw. Sound right? I don't dought bill, just asking.

If you didn't open up the intake, nor open up the exhaust, that sounds about right to me. It's air entrainment block-off plate, if you want to get more precise....but, it has ZERO effect on jetting choices.
