Default What to expect.. Selling?

Well, it's time. Time for the KLX to go. It's a 09 with 2k on it. Bought in spring of 11. It have tusk hand guards, .46 front springs, skid plate, dyno jet kit, trackmaster front, 606 rear with 400 or so miles on it, ultra heavy duty tubes and rim locks. The stock bars have a small tweek in them. A few scratches here and there from trail riding. How much should i ask, and how much should i take. I was thinking 3500 or so.

WHAT? 2000 miles! It's hardly even broke in! I'll give you $1000!

I live in Canada where resale prices tend to stick higher, and I bought an 09 SF with 1000km on it last year for $3000 (CDN$ essentially on par with US$). The seller had been asking $4000...

Oh come on! Sell it to me so I can make a little. Ha Ha. Seriously I agree with the others on pricing and you should have no trouble selling it quickly. IMO.

$3,500 seems really high...if i was buying a s model...i probably offer $3,000 max if it's in great condition...but, most likely offer about $2,700 to start...price varies by region...most used new model klx250 sell in the $3,000 +/- range...

Take a look at the Craigslist find of the day thread.

Here in the midwest it wouldn't sell for anything over 3K.
